Paige Currier

Schooling: Irene’s Myomassology Institute

Years of Experience: I have been a massage therapist since 2017

Techniques/Specialties: I believe massage is an incredibly powerful tool of healing and one of the most potent applications of self care. The benefits of informed and intentional touch are limitless. Pairing that intent with a functional understanding of the body and movement creates infinite opportunities to improve our health, expand our knowledge and strengthen our connections to ourselves and each other.

Massage Philosophy: I am most focused on therapeutic massage, partnering muscle energy techniques with assessment in order to facilitate change and other relief to my clients. craniosacral therapy is another modality I feel strongly about. Utilizing light touch and gentle holds to relax and integrate the nervous system as well as all the other systems is is accountable for. I also employ myofascial release, trigger point or orthopedic assessment and assisted stretching into my massage practice.

What Got Me Interested in Massage Therapy: Witnessing firsthand the way massage can improve quality of life through my Mom’s work as a massage therapist really fueled my passion. Having the opportunity to help people feel more comfortable in their own bodies as well as help eliminate their pain is an honor I hold in the highest esteem.
